Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how RCTK (“RCTK,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit rctk.com (the “Site”), contact us, or otherwise interact with us online.

Contact: privacy@rctk.com

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and related communications (for example, email exchanges initiated through the Site). It does not replace or override any confidentiality, security, or data-processing terms in a signed client agreement (such as an NDA, services agreement, or data processing addendum).

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

We collect information you choose to provide, such as:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone number, company, role)
  • Message content (what you write in forms or emails)
  • Meeting details you provide when scheduling (if you use a scheduling tool)

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, timestamps)
  • Approximate location (derived from IP address)
  • Cookies / similar technologies used for essential site functionality and (if enabled) analytics

C. Client or prospective-client materials

If you share business materials with us (e.g., documentation, policies, SOPs, knowledge base exports) during scoping or delivery, we handle those materials under the terms of the applicable agreement and the secure workflows you and we select. Our standard posture is to keep customer data under customer control and to avoid unnecessary third-party exposure (for example, by favoring customer-controlled infrastructure where feasible).

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you
  • Evaluate fit and scope for consulting engagements
  • Provide and improve the Site and its features (including any interactive demos)
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK, if applicable)

If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data when we have a lawful basis, including:

  • Consent (e.g., optional analytics cookies where required)
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., securing the Site, responding to business inquiries)
  • Contract necessity (e.g., taking steps at your request before entering into a contract)
  • Legal obligation (e.g., compliance and recordkeeping)

6. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help operate the Site and communications (e.g., website hosting, email delivery, security tooling, appointment scheduling, basic analytics). These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to provide services to us.
  • Legal and compliance recipients (e.g., if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity)
  • Business transfers (e.g., if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction)

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we explicitly tell you otherwise (for example, if you enable advertising cookies).

7. Cookies and analytics

A. Cookies

Some cookies are strictly necessary to operate the Site. If we use optional cookies (like analytics), we will present choices where required by law.

B. “Do Not Track” / similar signals

Some jurisdictions expect disclosure about how a site responds to browser “Do Not Track” signals and other tracking preference mechanisms. Because there is no uniform industry standard for Do Not Track signals, we may not respond to all such signals. If we recognize legally required signals (for example, certain opt-out preference signals), we will process them where applicable.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including:

  • Inquiry records: typically retained for 12 months after last contact (unless you become a client or law requires longer retention)
  • Client engagement data: retained per the applicable agreement and operational needs (and deleted or returned upon request where agreed)

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

A. Marketing communications

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link (if provided) or by contacting us at privacy@rctk.com. We may still send non-marketing messages (e.g., about ongoing discussions or operational notices).

B. Access, correction, deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal information. To submit a request, contact privacy@rctk.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”.

C. California notices (if applicable)

California privacy regimes commonly require a “notice at collection” describing categories collected, purposes, retention, and whether information is sold/shared. We provide a summary here:

  • Categories collected: identifiers (name, email), professional info (company/role), internet activity (IP, device data), communications content.
  • Purposes: respond to inquiries, provide services, secure/improve the Site, comply with law.
  • Retention: see Section 8.
  • Sale/share: we do not sell; we do not share for cross-context behavioral advertising unless disclosed.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and post the new version on this page.
